Have I lost my virginity? I masterbated with a finger and then observed little blood.
I masterbated with a finger (about 2 inches deep) I am a female... 17 years old. I played with the ball kind of thing on top of vagina and I felt like something was coming out.. may be I was too harsh. Later I observed a little blood. Did I hurt myself with the finger nail or did I loose my virginity? I don't think I went that deep that could break my virginity. Anyway.. so did I hurt myself with the nail or lost my virginity? I never had sex. I just masterbated.. last time I did with a long stick kind of thing and I observed blood back then also. 2 times blood can't be seen if the virginity is gone. Am I virgin? I am really worried. I will never ever do it again. :(

If you never actually had sex, you're a virgin. It makes no difference if your hymen is intact or not as it often can break from some sort of strenuous activity anyway. The true sense of being a virgin comes from the fact that you haven't had sex.

The only way to lose your virginity is to have sex. Penis in your vagina. I assume when you say "break your virginity 'you are referring to your hymen. Most girls break theirs with tampons and physical activity. Some girls are born without them. Masturbation is completely normal and healthy. It will actually make it easier when you decide to give our special someone your v-card because you have experimented and know what feels good, so your partner is not guessing. Make sure whatever you use to masturbate with is clean. What you did was just fine. You may have nicked yourself with your nail if you saw blood. If you have used a tampon your hymen is already gone. If not, then if you have done sports then the chances are it is gone too. If you have done neither of these things then it could have been your hymen breaking. That's okay too. Either way, as long as you have never had sexual intercourse then you are a virgin.

In your culture, is it important to see blood on your wedding night?

Many women masturbate and that has nothing to do with virginity, you are a virgin as long as you have not had sex with someone.

Breaking the hymen happens from sports, and many reasons, it has nothing to do with being a virgin
