    What is this lump from cannula being removed?
    I have recently been in the hospital and had a cannula in which had to be taken out. During a transfusion now above the bend in my arm, I have lump which is extremely painful. What could it be? What is

    You mean you had an IV? You say recently, but how recently?

    Sounds like your IV infiltrated, which is common. Warm moist heat can help with that.
