    Ford escape problems/engine light removed
Why would anyone remove the engine light indicator in the dash? Does it have anything to do with the engine stalling? I noticed there are recalls for engine stalling with out notice.

Someone removed it to hide the fact there was engine problems the computer was detecting... you would have seen an iluminedated yellow and or red indicator of a problem.

Meaning someone sold you a lemon... and they knew it when they did it.
