    Custody rights in relocating
    I want to move out of the state to better myself for my children & find & apartment that I can afford I'm tired of being stuck in my parents house & so are my kids & my son father just want 2 continue 2 see me stay down plus he doesn't even does what he suppose 2 as a father that gets his son every other week end!!

    Depending on where you live... you might have to give up custody to leave the state...

    NY is like that... some others are too. We however don't know where you are.

    I am in il rite now trying 2 compromise & wasn't even trying 2 move that far away I just do not, like or here or want to be here any more!

    Then you need to go back to the court ad prove to them, that your moving will be better for you and your children. Unless you can do that or get the father to agree to the move, the court will not allow it.

    Yea I been in court alone twice so we are on the 3rd court date so if 2 defaults on him mean any thing I am just praying or works in me & my children favor because I'm not dealing, with a man that cares for the best interest for the child or the safety with all this killing going on that shouldn't even be a thought!!

    So you point out to the court that he has failed to show in two previous occasions ad ask that you be granted the right to move by default.
