Do I wait or let her go?
I met this girl 4 months ago and we hit it off right from the start. Im 34 and she is 26. She had just arrived into the USA from Mexico 2 weeks before I met her.She is a Nanny and is here on a 1 year visa. We went on dates all the time and she would spend the weekends at my house. After about a month she started telling me she loved me and I told her the same.

We started talking about her only being here a year and she said she could stay longer if she attended school. Everything seemed perfect until a few weeks ago she said she was feeling homesick and wanted to go home. I tried to comfort her but it kept getting worse and she told me she could not be in a serious relationship yet and just wanted to be alone. She came over my house later that night to talk to me and she asked if she could hug me next thing I know we are making love and she spent the night. She told me to call her later on. We talked a few times briefly after that and I never started the conversation, I'm trying to act like I'm done and moving on but inside I'm a complete wreck.

So do I just keep acting like I don't care or do I send her flowers. Part of me feels like it was just a real good excuse and a easy way to break up with me.

You both know she is going back home so why the games? Enjoy it while it lasts my friend. Don't act like a heart broken kid.

If she has not contacted you, let it go and I hope you had protected sex. She already told you what she didn't want.

Be honest and tell her the truth, and let it go from there.

Homesickness is a powerful force. Plus you rushed the relationship way too fast and that is a direct path to a failed relationship. Appreciate the time you had and move on. Only next time don't move so fast.

All the Mexicans I have known that got into relationships with Americans got home sick and dumped who they were with to go back. You want to keep seeing her and deal with the heartache later or do no contact and deal with it now.
