    Closed on house and repairs were supposed to be done by a contractor
    Closed on a house repairs was supposed to be done by a contractor. Seller had a receipt so I did not check work. Now I checked and it looks like work was not done by a professional. What do I do

    Of course you are not suppose to close until you do a final walk though and accept the home, since closing is basically saying you are acceptig the home.

    So now it boils down to the wording of the contract and the closing statements. If the seller will not merely correct these things, you will end up in court over them.
