I got shot at work! I'm a victim Well for 4 yrs I've been self medicating for my fybromialgia with perk 5s or 10s I never done anything more than a 10 until this yr! But when I got shot I was at work and I had perks in my system! That was my main use of perks was so I could work! And put on a performance! I've still never ever done Heroin and never will OK but all of these docs are turning me away because of my drug test b-4 surgery! They are sending me to pain management Should I be honest with the doc there about my choices? And if I am honest what will they do? I don't believe in head medicines nor will I ever take methadone it gets in your bone marrow! OK also the study of the body is something I have been doing all of my life! I have an associates in fitness and nutrition! B/c I got shot at work I can not afford nor do I think its my place anymore to provide my medication! I can't walk without them now because of the gun shot damage I can't sleep without some relief I am up to 15 to 20mg every 4 to 6hrs I have never told a doc this because I don't want them to take me the wrong way! When I worked I worked hard very hard I always came home with huge bruises and knots the size of gulf balls in my muscles every wear and now those knots are still there they are supposed to be massaged everyday if not then I get bad spasms just like I always have except now I'm in bad position with trying to recover from being shot at random shooting that hit me in my R ribs fractured 9 & 10 went threw my liver threw my intestine and threw my stomach Which they done an emergency gastric bypass to fix and hit my spine and fractured my L3 and forced my lower back to an protruding position where as b-4 it was abnormally bent inward

Where do you live - state or country? Why aren't you getting prescription meds from a doctor? Can you go to a pain management clinic?

So you were buying percs on the side... and now you need more and want them prescribed, but no doctor will?

Of course you tell the doctor the truth.
As for 'head medicines,' some anti-depressants actually do help with pain, especially as you get more and more tolerant of, and thus need more of, the opiates.
THC works of course. Do you live in a medical marijuana state?
Take ibuprofin too, in between as many percs as you can. Tylenol if you aren't getting too much already in the percs. Each helps in a different way.
So you have several options to work on pain, and why haven't they signed you up for whirlpool and other PT?
