Past employer wage garnishment guidelines Florida
I worked for a company until February 2013, they did pay overtime, I sued them after I quit and got a settlement in August 2013. I got a settlement of $995 and the $995 they owed me for the time I worked. I got a wage garnishment again notice at that time that was filed in June 2013 and they are holding my second check of $995 until they figure out how much they can garnish from it. Is the credit card company allowed to take money from me for a job I worked at before the garnishment was in place?

Yes. If the company still owes you money they can attach it with a legal writ of garnishment.
