What tests did the doctor run? Did he do any blood work, an x-ray, anything? Or did he simply look at the puppy, shrug his shoulders, and send you home with medication?

Peeing and pooing means she's not dehydrated, and there was food in her stomach. It means her system is working, which is a good sign. But, a puppy that's lifeless and floppy, with blood in her stool, is not a good sign.

Is she eating, is she drinking? Is she vomiting, does she have diarrhea?

Keep giving her the meds and hope for the best, that's really all you can do.

    Then that's a good sign.

Continue with the medication for as long as the vet recommended. Continue to feed her smaller portions, more often. Do not limit her water intake, let her drink when she wants.

Of course, this is just opinion. I can't tell you what's wrong with your dog, I can't diagnose her, therefore everything I'm advising you is only opinion.

I hope that she's okay. Please keep us posted. :)
