Uk, Scotland. I am unsure of diameter it is not detailed on the invoice. The length of pipe was roughly 30cm just a guess as I saw it! Not really clued up on this myself and obviously trust the plumber has done his job in a trustworthy way! All details from question are taken directly from invoice. Sorry I'm a bit useless!
    Thanks

    Hi Lawmonkey

Sorry to hear of the problem, but I am afraid that there is absolutely no way that we are going to be any help here.

The fact is that you will get different prices from different states, cities, towns... never mind countries (USA plumbers here). Heck, if you hang around here long enough I am sure there is someone around that would love to throw a number up for you... fact is it will not be any good, especially with the little information you provided.

I certainly don't need to tell you what you and the neighbor should have done before the work was started. Maybe you could call a couple local plumbers, pay for their time (not their screw up), and see what they present as costs on the job. Then you and neighbor can decide from there?

    Good luck!

    Thanks Mark

I know! I was in holiday and one of my neighbours got it done I don't know why he never asked for a quote first? I went to pay him my share (IMO id raher pay it now and get it over with) and he didn't want it as is going to dispute the invoice.
Just thought I would scout about and c if anyone had a rough idea. The bill is in his name anyway so I suppose it won't directly affect me!
    Thanks for your honest reply!
