    Bathtub drain
We have a ball on top of our downstairs bathtub drain. We can't figure out how to plug the drain to take a bath? The toggle on the side of tub doesn't do anything. We think we have to do something to the ball on top of drain as this is a rental & landlord has probably done something cheap. Hope someone can help.

    Hi Jeanie

Post a picture of the inside tub drain and the outside "toggle" so we can see what you are talking about...

The only ball I have ever seen in a drain was a floating seal for sewer backup. Is this in a basement?
