My fiancé has recently quit drinking. He has now experienced no bowel movement for 4 days and having numbness chest down. Very weak, legs hurt. He does take meds for high blood pressure.

We can't give you a diagnosis here but quite frankly it doesn't appear to be either from your description. Get him to the doctor to be checked out. Keeping his blood pressure at a healthy level is most important now. Also not good to be constipated, talk to the doctor about that as well. On second thought, perhaps a complete physical is in order!
