    Tennessee laws and sentence for vop class a,and e felony .dui, and drug parap
    my grandson is in jail for violation of probation incurring new charges, failure to pay court cost, theft value of prop.$500.00 or less. DUI first offense. Possession of parap. Theft 500.01 to 999.99. I cannot afford an attorney. The public defender will not call me back and he cannot get her to call him. He has been in jail since July 12, 2012. When he goes to court next month how much more time will he get.

    His lawyer can make a guess... that's a lot of charges... it all depends on how they decide to sentence him if he loses... serve concurrently or consecutively.

    First most likely he will get all of his probation time to serve, so how many years probation is he on. If his lawyer does it, that will serve the time for new charges also.

    No his lawyer will talk to him, not you, your son needs to talk to lawyer and then talk to you
