    Income or reduction in expense
I do the books for a non profit youth hockey organization. We contract ice in the summer that is used by different programs (leagues) because we get first choice at the ice. They reimburse us for the ice they use. Is that income to our program since we do not ever actually own the ice? This seems more like a reduction in expenses to us rather than income but want to report it properly. We are a 503C non profit.
