My crush said that he liked someone, so I got my best friend to text him and ask who it was. It turned out to be her, and she felt awful about it, even though I said it didn't matter. I know everyone says that's how life goes or find a new crush, but its not as easy as it sounds. I've tried that and all that happens is I start to like this guy even more. He flirts with me, but not in the same way guys have done to me in the past when they like me. I don't know what to do, but I know I can't stop liking him. And the worse part is I have to be with him tomorrow and I don't think I can avoid him easily :(

Maybe he thought your friend was asking him because she liked him... maybe he thought he should tell her he likes her. This is what happens when you play games like this. Perhaps you should have asked him who he likes. Why don't you just stop worrying about it and see what happens? Maybe if you ask him who he likes, he will say you.

I'm thinking the same thing. He tells best friend he likes her, but flirts with the OP. I think he may take what he can get. I think the OP and the best friend should not fall for this boy. Often that can end up in no more best friend.
