I don't fit in with people at my school
School is starting next week I'm going to be in 8th grade. I really don't think I fit in with my classmates I'm not like anyone and I'm a bit nervous to start school again. Most kids in my school especially ones in my class every year are the loud, goofy, crazy kind of people and others are the gross disgusting and annoying type and there's another group of friends of 3 girls who are the same language and they only talk to each other and are so much about caring what they look and they gossip a lot and when they gossip they speak their own language. One of my friends who moved away speak the same language and told me they always talk about people. Oh and also I'm more of the shy type. I do have 2 other friends in my class and 1 friend that's a year younger than me so we only see each other during recess. My 2 friends in the same class are less crazy but still fun people. They're not shy like me but they're nice and better than the rest of the class. However the problem of being a group a 3, when there are partners for 2 people one always have to be left out. Being the one left out feels bad because everyone else has a partner but you.
Also my 2 friends are only a bit like me. They wear skirts sometimes -- I don't. They listen to music a lot -- I don't. They watch the same TV shows -- I don't. They both have ipods and are able to text each other -- I don't. So its still hard for me to fit in with them.
I don't want to go back to school.

You'll be surprised if you look around the school. There are other people you'd like. Join a club you're interested in. Go back with a great attitude and things will go better than you thought.

Nobody in my class except 2! There are amazing people from different classes and also nice people who are a year older but they just graduated so I won't be able to see them. And now this year I worry a lot about good grades, friends, dealing with younger people in school, graduation, and a lot of stuff.

New people come in every year. Also, you need to try to set new people. Some girls will hang out with a group they really don't like, just to try to fit in. Hopefully, your schedule will allow for some electives and you can meet some new friends in those and other classes. Keep up your good grades and study hard. Remember, you can be friends with and help younger students.

Take a positive attitude about people with you and you will meet people, maybe some you didn't think you'd like. When you go in with a set opinions about people, it effects how you approach them and they you.
