Yellow wire placement from condenser fan motor to dual capacitor...
My new ao smith 1/4hp condenser fan motor ( FSE1026SV1) has 4 wires: Brown... Brown/White... Black... and YELLOW.

To where do I connect the Yellow wire on my new 3-post capacitor?? The old capacitor is identical to the new capacitor.
I guess you should also advise where to connect the others as well.

Also... is it correct that I can tape-off the Brown/White from the new motor and forget about it?

THANK YOU... From the bottom of my heart!!

There should be a wiring diagram on or with the motor that shows both three & four wire configurations.
