So my period is usually very unpredictable but these past two months in June and July my period has had a perfect 30 day cycle! It is now August 22 and I still have not had my period. I should have gotten it August 15th to keep up with my perfect 30 days.. But it is now a week late. I do have sex, but a condom is always used. One time he slipped it in when we were in the pool but I backed away and told him I didn't want him in me unless he had a condom on. That kind of freaked me out and made me worry, plus I have been trying to move into my new apartment and on top of that I just broke up with my boyfriend. So TONS of stress over here. Should I take a test to be safe? Should I get a test from planned parenthood? Should I just wait another week or two?

You are aware a condom is only 80% effective even when used correctly?


So you are 7 days late... that means you have to wait another week to take a pregnancy test... first thing in the AM right after you wake up... the first time you pee...

Testing earlier than two weeks late is likely to yield false negatives.
