My lawyer withheld information till after the settlement? What to do
My lawyer told me to ask for less in my settlement offer, I did, but I asked him three times before the settlement how much does his insurance cover, and he refused to tell me till after the settlement. Which I have not signed the offer. Its just verbal right now. Can I change my mind? How do I find out what to ask for? My medical bills are 12,000.00 . I had therapy for two years and I had to move and withdraw out of school and relocate to another city. Which I have not been able to return to school for the same subject because its not offered here.

Don't sign until you find out how much the insurance will cover. If you don't believe the attorney which the insurance company got for you, demand that they pay for an attorney of your choosing.
