    What is the situation you are referring to as squatters rights? Someone moving into abandoned house or what?

    There aren't any squatter's rights anymore, in Florida or anywhere else. They have been replaced by the laws of adverse possession, where a person may be entitled to claim ownership of property after they fulfill several strict conditions.
