New circuit for 45A garage door opener
My home was built in 1988 and the original garage door opener was functioning until last week. I do not like the motion sensors on new ones, so would like to replace the cicuit board or the entire motor unit - which ever one is available. Do you know of a company or web site where I can search?

What does the title have to do with your question? Are you looking to run a new circuit to it? If so why?

I'd start with the brand. Do you know what brand it is?

    Hi,
The Overhead Door Brand 45 A has been obsolete for many years.
The only option for parts are used.
That unit was mid range at best in it's day, finding good used parts will be a real chore.
If it is the board, the unit is done.
All garage door openers are now and have been for many years, required by law to have photo Cells / Safety Sensors.
The only way around them is that the installer has the liberty to install the sensors anyplace he wants. Technically they are to be 3" from the floor but that is on the installer. I have seen many mounted on the celling behind the power head.

45A is the brand? I though the title was about running a 45 amp circuit. Lol
    Thanks for the heads up.
