    Spousal sponsorship
I am a permanent resident of Canada. I’ve applied for my citizenship, but haven’t been called for the test yet. I got married recently and want to sponsor my spouse. My question is:
Can I go back to Iran and stay with my spouse during the time his application is being processed? If not, can I go to Iran for a visit during this time? How many visits can I have?
What if I wait and apply for him after I become a citizen? In that case can I go back to Iran and live with him during the time his application is being processed?
Thank you so much for your time

Wait until you become a CDN citizen, then apply for a visa to visit him.

Do not leave until you become CDN citizen. If this is over 90 days from the date you submitted the documents, contact them.
