Will receiving a d on my transcript effect my chances of getting into a UC ?
I am currently enrolled at a community college, I graduated from high school over a year ago. I was doing great during my freshman year of college, but I registered for six classes during the spring semester. I received mainly A's and a few B's, but I ended up getting one D. I am a sensitive person and I was very upset when I got that D. All of my siblings have already graduated from college they have all obtained there (MA). This class is not a pre-quest or required for my major, but it is advised. I feel like all hope is gone and I have no future.

Sorry, "get a life" you got a D, it is not the end of the world, and the world is not over.

No one will ever care about the D after you graduate.

What's a UC? University of California? This is a world site.
I don't know if a D will prevent you from getting in or not, but with As and Bs, I think they will overlook one D.
