I'm 22 years old and I just lost my dad 6 1/2 months ago... he was an alcoholic for 25 years... he was my entire world... since he died I cut everyone out of my life and I just stat in a small room and blare music through my headphones... I'm not saying I'm psychic or havinh visions but I dream of him every night... but he won't talk to me... he's just standing there... I want to hear his voice... I need to talk to him there's so much anger, frustration and sadness... I need closure... please someone help me... I want to be happy again.. I want to live.

Nost people just go to their grave or favorite spot and pour their heart out.

If you are not living through this then you have to seek professional help in the way of grief counselling. You must talk this through with someone.

I feel the loss in the palliative care I do. I am the one who sits by their side until they go. I have lost personally too, it isn't easy, 91.

He lives in your heart. You don't have to let him go, but you will never hear from him the way you want to.

It doesn't mean your are weak or psycho to seek out grief counseling. They can help you walk through this better... and you're not meant to walk through anything alone. I'm the sure the people you cut out of your life would be more than willing to do anything for you during this time.
