    Spotting during ovulation
I'm spotting during ovulation and this has lasted about a week!
My breasts are very sore every month when ovulating and I notice when I go to the gym this happens a bit more. Is it normal to see a brownish colour when your ovulating?

Spotting can happen between periods. If this is a concern, and happens frequently, it's best to discuss this with your doctor to find out the cause.

There's really no way to tell you why this is happening, or if it's a concern, online.

And how do you know this is your ovulation time, online apps and phone apps do not really work. Are you tracking it, with basal temp or other testing, trying to get pregnant ?

I keep a track of it on calendar.
I know exactly when I'm ovulating.

Online calendars do not work, I mean no disrepect but few women know when they are ovulating.

It's true that to accurately know when you are ovulating, you must use either OPKs or track with basal body temps. That said, if you have spotting in the middle of your cycle that is as consistent as you say, it could be a progesterone deficiency, which tends to occur just after ovulation.

See a doc to be sure. If a progesterone deficiency is indeed the case, it is easily remedied.
