    Light switch stopped working
I replaced the outlets in the room and now the light won't turn off. So I changed the light switch and it didn't fix the problem. What should I do now?

Hi patrick and welcome, this might be a dumb question but did you re-set the breaker/fuse? Also check the breakers nest to the one for the outlet circuit you might have accidentally kick one.

Hang tight an expert will be along. Good luck

One of the outlets was controlled by a switch. You will need to look at the old outlets and you will find one of them with the side tab broken off. It will be one that had an extra black wire on it or possibly a white wire with black tape.
Then you will need to find that outlet in the wall.

    Patrick,

Good morning. Why did you replace the receptacles in the room? Is the switch for a table lamp or a ceiling light?

If the wall switch was being fed from a receptacle and you did not correctly attach the wires from the receptacle to the wall switch, that is exactly what can happen.
