    Japanese Figural Folding Screen
I am seeking information on this 4 panel Japanese screen. This screen was purchased about 19 years ago for $20.00 from a shop that was closing. The screen is hand painted in ink on gold leaf. The border and backing is brocade. There is a small gold sticker on the side of this screen with the name "LJ Japan".
I have been searching tirelessly to find more information and a date for this screen without any luck. This screen measure 72" wide x 36" high. Each panel is 18" x 36". I am contemplating restoration on this screen due to some water damage at the bottom and some tears in the brocade. I really would like to know if it is worth it.
    All help is greatly appreciated.
