Around 6 months after you're married and financially secure.

How long has this guy been your fiancé? Are there real plans to marry? Or is "fiance" just something fun to say?

You have terrific health insurance, a healthy savings account, a secure home to live in, and this fiancé won't disappear, is set for the long haul?

To me, a fiancé is someone that hasn't yet made the ultimate commitment. I don't see any reason to have a child until you're married. When you're married, the man that provides the sperm for this child, will have proven that he's in it for the long haul.

Why have a child with a man that hasn't proven he wants to spend the rest of his life with you and the child? No baby until the paperwork is signed and he's your husband.

What's the hurry? Why does he have to have a child now? Why do you? At 19, it's unlikely that this guy will be around in 2 years, especially if you add a baby to the mix. Babies break up more couples than money issues. They're not easy on any relationship. Why give him the option to leave whenever he wants? Get the ring, and the paperwork, then procreate.

At 19 you've paid for your own home? That's impressive.

It takes around 3 months after being off the pill for your system to get back to normal. You should start folic acid pills immediately, and see your OBGYN , inform him/her that you plan to try and conceive.

I waited 3 years to have my first child after I married, and I married at 24. I couldn't imagine getting married, and then immediately trying to conceive. There's enough stress the first year of marriage, especially at the age of 19, without adding a baby into the mix.

    But hey, it's your life.

    Good luck with that.

BUT, even after 3 months it can take over a year to get pregnant, even if you are properly tracking ovulation. ** medically checking, not silly online or phone apps for ovulation.

For most healthy couples it takes up to a year or more of actively trying before conceiving.

With that said, the first 5 years of marriage are the hardest. You should take the time to get to know each other as a married couple, all quirks, eccentricities, etc. of living together before bringing another life into the relationship.

Furnace ignition sequence weirdness [ 2 Answers ]

I've got a Fraser-Johnston model PACE-LD14N100A propane furnace. When I turn on the heat, the blower starts immediately instead of the usual ignition sequence. The igniter never heats, no propane goes to the burners - just the blower chugging away at circulating unheated air through the ductwork...

Propane stove weirdness [ 2 Answers ]

One burner on my gas stove is acting weird. The flames have yellow tips on them and it is leaving a black streak on my pot. All the other burners are fine. Is this because there's some junk stuck in it that just needs to burn out, or does it indicate air getting into the flow somehow ? ...
