I take suboxone for pain managent. I was unable to makeup appointment and rescheduled for the next available which is 4 days away. I've already been without for 2 days and I'm doing horrible. If I go to the ER will they give me a script for a couple suboxone to get me by until my doctors appointment ?

Usually your doctor will coordinate with your pharmacist to prescribe a few extra pills to get you through until the appointment.

They said they couldn't do that. He has to see me. But he has nothing available for 4 more days. What can I do to sleep and relax? Or should I go to the ER?

The ER is for emergencies only, not for prescriptions. It's unlikely that they'll give you a prescription for medication your doctor is prescribing. You need to go to the source, and if you need this medication to function, you have to manage it better, make an appointment weeks before your prescription runs out.

A friend of mine was in a similar situation and got help at an ER, but no guarantees. You may encounter a Dr. at the ER who won't do it without talking to the original prescribing Dr.
