I have a clogged drain in the kitchen sink. Used a snake did not work, went into crawl space to go through clean out there was not one. So I wanted to install one

The answer will depend on the pipe type you have, but for most pipe types basically you want to purchase some shielded clamps and a test tee fitting. You'll cut the pipe and insert the cleanout and use the clamps to connect everything together.
