    No cotton balls. Describe the size and shape of the bone and how long ago he ate it.

    Considering the time of your post, it would be too late for the cotton ball treatment, or the bread. At this point you'll have to wait and see. Keep an eye on your dog, if you notice any signs of discomfort, problems defecating, lethargy, obvious pain, blood in the stool, then you need to get to the vet immediately.
