Last week my Harley Davidson 2003 lowrider's odometer started displaying garbage, code (?), and the mileage intermittently. Yesterday battery died during return trip from Ocean City to Baltimore. Jumped the battery with a pickup truck, yes the engine was running, and continued the trip. During the trip (2.5 hrs), The turn signals stopped working, brake light stopped, and the speedometer would stop when the turn signal switches were activated, return to normal when de-activated. The odometer continued the erratic display. Installed new battery upon return, turned on and all appeared normal. Bike started, and took a quick trip to the 7-11. The odometer is still displaying garbage, codes(?), and the mileage on a intermittent basis, and now the "Key" light is displaying red.

Any clues where to start looking for this problem? I need to be back to beach for work Friday PM, and don't won't to show up with dead battery.
