My girlfriends period is 2 days late. She is on birth control but occasionally forgets to take it and doesn't always take it at the same time. I used a condom last time but it may have broken. Odds of pregnancy?

She could be. She'll have to wait another 10-12 days and test with the first urine of the morning.

Odds of pregnancy are pretty good if she doesn't correctly use her birth control, and the condom broke. But, 2 days late is nothing. At 2 days you're not even considered late, just off.

Fact is, you could use 3 forms of birth control, all correctly, and still become pregnant. There is no form of birth control that's 100%. By not using the pill correctly, she's actually increased the odds. As for using a condom, condoms are the least reliable form of birth control on the market.

Like TJ said, she'll need to wait until her period is at least 2 weeks late, then test using first morning urine. If that test is negative, wait for the next period, and if it's missed, test again or get a blood test done.

I would have a serious talk with her about responsibility. If she can't be trust to take her birth control correctly, then you shouldn't be putting your penis anywhere near her body. She's really taking a huge risk by missing pills, and not taking them as prescribed.
