Im writing this the day after I split up with the girl I had been going out with for 2 and a half years and the girl which I went to university with (big mistake) Im already heartbroken as it is but know that time will eventually change the way I feel and hope to meet someone new when I'm over her. Thing is my uni is very small and very geeky (london school of economics) and there must only be about 300 people that go out to uni nights etc She's absolutely stunning and started getting a lot of attention and said she didn't know what she wanted anymore and said she may have feelings for another guy but out of respect for me wouldn't do anything until I'm over her, which I don't know she'll keep. How am I supposed to get over her when I have to see her once or twice a week for the next two years maybe with another guy as I know this would set me back getting over her. I just couldn't face seeing her with someone else and unfortunately if I don't go out to these places where she's at (all sports team go out together on the same night) then it will result in me not getting involved and losing friends. Would really help if anyone has experience in seeing an ex girlfriend often?

It's hard but you will get over it...
It takes time.

Sometimes that's just how things go in life...
I had to work with -what I then regarded as "the love of my life" and it was hard, very hard. But human beings are strong, you will get over it and time will heal... it sounds cliché, but it's true.

Just one day at the time... keep yourself busy, study, build up a social life and get involved with other people, make friends, this is supposed to be an exciting time in your life so don't let this ruin new experiences for you.
