Clean as you normally would without suing harsh soaps. And as CBW said above, do not douche. You should NEVER douche anyway without a doctor's order.

Try using Summers Eve Feminine Wash.(The sensitive skin one doesn't have a lot of perfume to it so its not irritating) This is a gentle cleanser formulated just for that area down there. It is ONLY used on the outside, which is what you need when you are pregnant. Its just like using body wash, or any other kind of soap, but more sensitive to the sensitive areas.

I always used feminine washes down there while pregnant. Still use them now, I was ultra careful while pregnant as I used to get lots of uti's and was convinced it was because of being dirty down there, never was though, turns out I have a kidney missing lol! But yes, feminine washes down there, just the outside bits.

Washing your vaginal area while pregnant is no different than when you are not pregnant. The cervix protects the uterus, which protects the placenta, which protects the baby.

So whatever you did before you got pregnant you can do now, with douching being the exception. Remember we should NOT EVER douche unless recommended by our doctors.

Don't worry about that u can keep cleaning down there the same way u always have . Remember the baby is in a sac of fluid and nothing can harm it from down there

As curleybenswife said its usually 20 weeks. It just depends on your doctor, and how your pregnancy is progressing however. Some do it sooner, some do it a little later.
