    Deleting large numbers of emails at once
    How can I delete batches of emails quickly and at the same time

    With the SHIFT key.
    Select the TOP one and the BOTTOM one while holding SHIFT and it will highlight them all.
    Then simple delete from there.

    OR just check multiple boxes to select and continue from there, normally webmail interface.
