    Possible Stroke?
    My mother lives with me, has numerous health issues. She woke up early and was in the kitchen getting water. I got up because I heard her. I asked her if everything was okay and she started speaking gibberish to me. Then she would say a couple of words clearly. She recognizes that she is not speaking right.

    Yes. That is a sign of a stroke. She needs medical attention immediately.
