Hi my name is Emily my sons name is Bryson he is 7 months old almost 8. I can't figure out why he won't go poop his pcp says its Constipation but this has been going on for almost a month now he gets a little bit out but he has to scream and struggle a lot is there something blocking him from pooping it's making me nervous I'm switch pcp just to try to find some answers I have giving him everything.ike apples apple juice prunes prune juice sapositories enemas I have switched his formula I put his knees to his belly helping him or rubbing his belly in a clockwise direction and rub his lower back I've done everything I can and nothing is helping I give him warm baths just to try to relax him he grabs his tummy when he tries like it hurtsive been to the er urgent care his pcp and they all say the something can you please give me your advice I'm tempted to even go to a gastorologist Monday

My son had the same problem, but he was 15 months old. The pediatrician said that we would try good old castor oil mixed in his milk. Once going poop wasn't painful,he stopped holding it. Within a week, we started weaning him off the oil. I'd ask your doctor if that is something you could give your son. He is much younger than mine was, so I'm not sure it's for an infant.

What helped my babies was I gave them plum baby food.
