After prom and general depression lack of socializing help please?
Hiya whoever comes across this. So it's the day after my prom and It was an amazing night spent with friends and my boyfriend (no alcohol if wondering if this is the problem, hang over not possible) I felt really pretty and comfortable in my dress and my boyfriend made me feel like well a princess, I see him most days but today he's got a friend staying over until Monday so won't be able to see him and have been sitting doing nothing and am feeling really sad it's over. I don't have a lot of friends as I'm not too confident to say the least and one of my closest friends has social anxiety I think so never likes to go out and meet up. So that brings in the idea about losing contact with them when I go to university in a few years, just feeling rather depressed and lonely, anyway thanks for reading and if you can make a suggestion please do I would appreciate it a lot.

When you don't even hear from a boyfriend after a big date, sure there's a letdown. (It gets worse when you are sexually active and don't hear an endearing word afterwards, so let that be fair warning).
Go see your socially reclusive friend. Tell her you really need someone to talk to, and tell her everything you said here. She may need you as much as you need her.

You just need something fun to do to take away the natural letdown of having a great time the night before. It's an emotional hangover I guess you could say. Most teens would have something planned for Saturday. Movie, recreation center, the park, or things you can do around the house.

You don't have to be best friends to have a good time with people doing fun stuff.
