    Parental rights
My ex husband lost all parental rights 25 years ago to my autistic son for abuse and neglect and non existing in his life. He now has contacted my son by Facebook and has called saying he wants to see my son. I tried telling him my son does not want to see him and also seeing him will cause more psychotic problems and undue stress for my son. He then informed me I was the abuser he never lost his right and he will take me to court. He also made other threats. He is still the abusive person he was 25 years ago. I want to know what are my legal rights since my son has also told him he does not want to see him.

Your son is an adult... its now his issue and not yours.

If that's the case, then you already know your rights. Do you have the court orders that terminated his rights?

From what you have said, you have the right to keep him from your son. You can even go so far as to get a restraining order against him, if he continues to harass you.

If he threatens court again, tell him to go for it.
