    Diverter valves and body jets
I have been trying to find a schematic for installing 2-way and 3-way diverter valves that will control 4 jets, shower head and separate hand held shower. Not sure where the 2-way and 3-way install. Meaning, what controls what.

Are you missing the paperwork that came with the diverter?

    What brand is it?

It's American Standard, I have the paperwork and 3 yrs ago when I bought everything, I sort of knew what I was doing. Now, I'm not sure. I have a 2-way diverter and a 3-way diverter. I was to run, 4 jets, one handheld sprayer, 2 shower heads. I cannot find my original drawing. So can the 3-way run a shower head and all four jets? Then the 2-way runs another head and the handheld?

Sure, just tee the extra outlet on the three-way diverter into one of the other outlets on the same diverter -- This will effectively cancel out the function of that port on the diverter.
