    Dismantle a wardrobe
    I need to dismantle and saw up a double wardrobe unit to get it to the dump, would a jigsaw be suitable for this?

    If that's all you own it will work if a bit slow... use a low tooth count wood cutting blade.

    A Sawwzall reciprocating saw is a better choice if you have access to one.
