    Could I be pregnant
Ok so my last period was Feb 13, 2013 and on April 12, 2013 I took a hpt and it was clearly positive, not believing it I went and bought another test and they were both positive :-) On April 15, 2013 I had my pregnancy confirmed by the local Woman's Care Center. But the following day April 16, 2013 I had bleeding like a normal period so I went to the emergency room and the doctor that was on call was very rude and treated me as if I was there for an abnormal period. They did a urine test and it came back negative, so they did a Beta blood test and it came back positive but my hgc level was only 20 and the doctor said I was having a miscarriage and since it was so low there was no point on doing an ultrasound :-/ he also did a pelvic exam in which my cervix was closed and NOT open?? Anyway, I went on with life for 2 months thinking I lost the baby and here it is July and I still haven't had a period, my bra size has gone up by 2 cup sizes, my butt is huge, my belly looks like I'm 5-6 months pregnant... only thing is every urine test I take is negative except for 2 that I have taken and they were faint positives... if I DIDN'T have the miscarriage, I would be 21 weeks and 2 days and why is my urine tests coming out negative?? Due to my insurance having problems covering maternity, I haven't been able to see a doctor... so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

So you don't have insurance,? You go see a doctor, go to a women's clinic, ( planned parenthood for one) but almost every city has them. ER is the last place to do pregnancy tests, that is not what they do, they do emergency treatment, not routine care.

It makes no sense that insurance wouldn't cover this. Go back to the clinic and get an ultrasound.
If you had miscarried in mid April, you would have been able to see an embryo.
And start treating yourself as though you are pregnant, with vitamins, no smoking or alcohol, etc.

I really wish we could diagnose online, but we can't tell you if you're pregnant or not. At this point you need an ultrasound to confirm what's going on. There's no way you'll find answers to this online.

    Good luck.

I went back to the clinic and they told me that since a urine test will come out negative, they can't do an ultrasound... not until its positive!! I told them that I was there back in April when THEY confirmed my pregnancy and they told me it didn't matter :-/

I do have insurance through Anthem but my ob/gyn doesn't accept Anthem (yes I know, you don't have to say it lol) He only accepts Hoosier Healthwise or MD Wise Insurance... and the Anthem plan I have doesn't cover maternity, just infertility
