Water enters washer after cycle completed
My front-end-load clothes washer works fine but after the cycle is completed water will enter the washer - a few inches over several hours. This happened last year and then stopped until now.
I suspect the inlet valve isn't closing properly.

    Thanks for any help.

I suspect that you are right.

Remove, disassemble, clean, lubricate and reassemble. If problem persist replace.

It's best to soak the valve parts in Lime Away or vinegar, but not the solenoid coils. Look carefully at the pin and spring that goes in the solenoid tube that is located in middle of solenoid coil. That's what you see sticking up when you remove the coils. If the pin is worn out you may need to replace it or the valves. The diaphragm is what actually stops the water flow and it can get stiff with age (especially the hot water side) or the orifice can get stopped up with lime. Here is a manual that may help: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/...c%20washer.pdf Good Luck.
