    Oklahoma dhs
My husband is wanting to give his ex girlfriend what she wanted for the past 5 yrs. She wants her husband now to adopt his daughter and after this situation he wants to quit messing with these vengaful ex girlsfriends and give them what they want. They will not allow my husband to see his kids. And nothing my husband has done will get them to let him see his kids. All they wanted was my husband back. They are jealous that he married me and not them. He can not handle being in jail anymore. Please read below before commenting

    Reference: Child Support Cases. DHS

David's case: David was in prison for 5 years, 7 years ago. He has been out for 7 yrs. He has tried to talk to DHS about his case which, was ignored. He tried to explain when they set his child support at 364.00 a month, he tried to explain there was no way for him to make that kind of payments having another child and step children and a wife who is disabled. The Lady attorney for DHS said she didn't care about anything that that was what had to be paid. That was on Aug. 25th. We lost our nice house of Sept. 1st. To try to lower our bills to pay the child support and had to pay for moving expenses and new place to live. We had to move into a roach infested, mice infested apartment which cost way too much. We finally moved into a mobile home. David can only work when riding with his boss. This is the only work david knows how to do. No normal place will hire him because of his past. He is trying to take care of his kids. His son is being abuse and neglected. We called dhs to report it and they will not take the child away from his mother. He has no sleep schedule, no eating schedule, he is still in diapers, and has a binki. Dhs said that they have to teach her how to be a mother. The attorney for david try telling the judge and the dhs attorney that if david didn't have his license that he couldn't get to work to make the money to pay the child support. David has tried and tried to get help with getting his license back and they just ignored him and put him off. We have all the reciepts from all the payments we made. David was out of town working when he couldn't make it to a hearing in nov. 2005 and sent in a 3000.00 cashiers check. Then we sent in another payment as promised when they let him out of jail in July of 2007 after we got married. They picked him up within an hour of us getting married on July 29th. When we went to court on Monday the dhs asked how much we could afford I said 225 and they told the judge to release him. I sent in the money as promised then in August they said it had to be 365 a month. With his income and me being 100% disable and me having 2 kids of my own, we told them over and over we could not afford that. The dhs lady said she didn't care about us not being able to afford it and she didn't care about any situation or bills or income. They told david over and over that he had to pay the full amount. That is why david would not listen to me when I told him to make an effort and pay what we could. The left david in a spot that there was absolutely nothing that he could do. He knew they just wanted him to sit in jail and that was where he was going because they would not work with him in anyway. They let a lot of men walk out that was late or not paying their child support. But a couple of men they decided to lock up. One of the men missed 2 payments in 2 yrs and they locked him up. Does that make sense? My husband lost his job over this and now doesn't even have that. They are not treating everyone equally and I don't understand how they can get away with that. David wants to pay his child support. He wants to be able to work and support his family and his kids but is not being giving the chance to do so with his license. Dhs has lied to everyone I have ever known. They told me and several of my friends that they won't lock a man up as long as they have made a payment in the last 90 days. They won't give their names at dhs. Will not let you file a complaint. And everyone I talk to tells me that dhs controls everything. I thought this world was about us people. My husbands daughters mother has a nice house with plenty of food and clothes for her kids. Please come check my house and see what we have. My kids are being hurt because of this. I have no food. No clothes for my kids but they want to say that him not being able to pay hurts his kids, excuse me they have more then we do. So who is hurting? Because we are poor they want to keep us that way. Even if david gets out I am going to keep pushing the issue because I don't believe in dhs and the way they handle everything they do. They need to be torn down and rebuilt. They have too much control and not doing the right things especially when they take kids away from parents that shouldn't be and then they let a 4 ½ yr old boy starve to death and is not doing anything about it. I have 4 yrs of child development and I know what a child needs and doesn't. They tried to say something was mentally wrong with my step son but they found out there isn't a thing wrong with him but he is not being taken care of. What do we have to do to get things started for people to actually look into dhs and say hey these things are wrong. What does it take for the fathers and mothers that have their cases through dhs to stand together and figure out why dhs will not talk to either party. We need to look at the system and figure out, is it working for everyone? I don't see it working for anyone. My step daughter was in tears because her father is in jail. She is scared to tell her mother that she wanted to come see her dad. And she is scared to tell her mother that she doesn't agree with her dad being in jail. How is this helping her?

    Thank you for you time

Child support is a set or adjustable fee depending on state min and a percentage of what the non custody parent ( man in your case) makes.

The fact he goes on to have other children or step children is not part of the formula to determine what they pay, And yes honestly the court and DHS do not care how it does it, all they care about is the amount the court set for the child support they are supervising.

And it is hard to prove an unfit parent, if they even investigate, and if the ex is the one turning them in, doubtful they even investigate.

As for food, you need to look into food stamp program, there is no reason for anyone in the US to go hungry. When I was a police officer I could get them back then because the department paid so low
As for clothes, I buy mine at the salvation army and good will ( yep folks my secret is out) and many minsters can send people there to get some free assistance also, so they don't even have to pay for things.

And of course the system does not work for hardly anyone actually, but if you read about 3 to 10 questions a night where men are wanting to not have to pay any child support and trying to find a way out of it, you will see the system has to be something to force men to pay for their respnosiblity

You should be getting some disability payment if you are disabled ? Plus other social service benefits.
And there are other jobs, mcdonalds is almost always hiring for your husband

They did not look at his pay. They said they didn't care what he made or what his expenses where. They refused to give him his license back so the only trade he knows will not hire him full time because he has to drive. Our attorney tried to explain to the judge and dhs that what they expected did not make sense and knows what they did was wrong. I'm writing all this because our lawyer told me to make noise.

They will not help me with food because I make too much on social security disability. I don't get new clothes. I wear clothes I have had since I was 15. My kids are suffering not me. Dhs will not give me any assistance as all. They won't even go after my ex husband and make him pay me. He owes me 5400 in attorney fees and court cost from 4 yrs ago and refuses to pay it even though it has been court ordered. My ex husband has never bought clothes or anything for kids till recently. There is something seriously wrong with dhs system. They have too much control.

My husband could have 5 yrs ago gave up his parental rights to let his daughters step dad adopt her but he didn't want to do that, so they are doing this to get him to give up his rights. His ex girlfriend even told me that. That is not just something my husband told me.
MCDONALDS and other jobs will not hire my husband because of his record. He has tried everything he can. He is not a loser anymore and just wants a happy life.
