Italian film (I think) -- had subtitles
The film was about a rich woman that is not very nice to her peasent ship captian ( I think capt. ) and they are ship wrecked on an island.. she tries to order him around on the island . But he has the know how and she soon in need of him to survive.. and she falls in love with him.. after they are rescued she goes back to her life of money.. but soon ends up back with her captian..

And idea of what the name is of this movie, seen it back in the mid 90s and I bet it was old then.. and it was in italian ( I think ) but had sub titles..
