    Clogged Dr5ains
I have a plugged double sink in the kitchen. I took apart all the piping underneath and checked each piece, then snaked the drain down with a 25 ft snake. Everything is clear. That was last week. Oh, this is at my cottage. Anyway, 3 days ago, the bathroom sink has also joined in on the problem. The kitchen sink always sort of drained a little slow, but acceptable. The bathroom sink was always good. Both bathroom sink and kitchen sink are on the same level. I'm leaning toward a venting issue, and that means going on the roof with a snake and from what I understand, running a water hose down too. Anything else? Or could it even be some other problem?

Welcome to The Plumbing Page at AMHD.com. You're responding to a 7 year old dead threads so I gave you one of your own. Please check the date before you post. Thanks
A few questions. I dig it the only place you have snaked is from the traps. Is that correct? Did you snake the lavatory traps? Try snaking the lavatory vent from the roof. No need for the garden hose, but put out enough cable to reach the base and 15 feet. More . If the kitchen is still running slow. Then snake that vent also. Let me know if that helps. Good luck, Tom
