Why is my cat hiding all of a sudden
Hello everyone. I am new here and hope you can help me. I have 3 cats. Kikki is my oldest, she is 7. Lola is 5 and Jack is 3. A little background - Kikki has always been the territorial alpha cat. When Lola came, she had trouble adjusting, but then dealt. When Jack came, more trouble, but never got used to Jack. Kikki is very close to me, comes to me, sits on my lap. When Jack comes around, she growls and runs away. About a month ago, Kikki completely changed. She turned from the alpha cat into a scared cat all the time. Jack is twice her size and likes to follow her and poke at her. She went from her normal sleeping spots to hidden spots around, but would still come out for me. For about 2-3 weeks now, she is completely hidden in a bedroom upstairs. We never see her. She will come out sometimes if call her, but she is always looking over her shoulder - scared. If Jack even gets near her, she yowls until we take him away.

Could something have happened in the house that traumatized her? Or could she be sick?

Thanks - any feedback would be great

It could be either. I'd take her in for a vet check to rule out any health issues.
