    Female cat hormones
We adopted a cat who is 18 months old with het 10 week old kitten who is still trying to suckle. We have 4 other cats and sometimes the mother cat is OK now with the others but she is pursessive over her little one and will on occasions be aggressive toward the other cats. We have had them 3. Weeks now and the mother was speed just before we got her. We have tried shutting her away for a while and taken the kitten away for a while. We are also giving her lots of praise when she doesn't go for the others and at times give her treats. Because she doesn't go for the others all the time and she hasn't always got het kitten near could it be hormonal?

We have a stray cat, who has been in our home for over 3 years. She's a calico and appears never to have been fixed. She was wild outdoors through 3 winters here in Vermont. Today, all of a sudden, she's bleeding or menstruating out her vagina. OR, could she have a urinary track infection?
