Hi.I was Diagnosed with hyper(overactive) throid 6months back.doctor advised me to take 30mg carbimazole. After a month I got my 2nd checkup, where t3, t4 are controlled but tsh level has gone to 0.01.then I started taking 40mg of carbimazole. In the next month checkup t3,t4,tsh are in normal levels.dr advised me to continue with 40mg carbimazole.then my tsh got increased from 3 to 33.then my dosage was reduced 30mg, even then TSH level increased to 56.Im still using 30mg carbimazole

    my latest lab reports:

    TEST NAME -TOTAL TRIIODOTHYRONINE (T3) - VALUE UNITS -108 ng/dl - NORMAL RANGE - (60 - 200)

These are questions for your doctor only, not online.
Your TSH shot way up and now is on it's way down (33 to 56 and now 28).
Did you discuss that latest number with the doctor when you got the results? That's what matters. You need to allow for the drug dosage to have an effect, and if you decrease it, you could swing the pendulum too far in the other direction. You need to have a relationship with a doctor based on both trust and answers to questions.

As for weight gain: that goes with treatment for hyperthyroid, sorry. It's a struggle that is very difficult to do much about, but still you need to be careful about how much you eat, possibly for the rest of your life. And that means that what little you eat has to be good for you.
